this is one of, if not the first, book i actually chose to read and read all the way through in years (as of 2005). this one may very well be the book the book that had brought out the bookworm inside me. yes, i read books before this, but didnt love them nearly as much.
in this book, strange notices are cirulating through the world. "You have been selected for death. Precisely forty-eight hours from the time of this transmission you will die. this is an official death watch notice." what would you do if you got a notice? this story follows a young reporter as she tries to solve the mystery behind these papers--and deaths.
