this is one of my favorite books!
Lila Cooper and her father get into a huge argument where harsh things are said--things that cant be taken back, not easily at least. Lila boards a flight leaving behind Japan, her father--and her chance to apologize; heading back to the U.S. But something goes wrong--terribly wrong. soon Lila finds herself the sole survivor of a terrible mid-air accident--trapped in a waterproof cargo pod at the bottom of the ocean--and no one knows where she is...or even that she's there. will soeone--anyone--find her before her oxygen runs out?
as i said before, this is one of my favorite books. its one of the few i can read and re-read without getting tired of it! i would reccomend this book for anyone!--and i do mean ANYONE. this book has a little of something for anyone! and even though it is book four in the series, you dont need to read the other books to get whats happening!

The Things A Brother Knows
Boaz Katznelson returns home from 'the War on Terror' without a scratch; or so everyone's told. Levi, is Boaz's younger brother (the story is told from his perspective). Levi knows that his brother didn't make it back entirely in one piece--he knows that his brother lost something across those seas...something that made him who he was..they say you go in a boy, and come out a man, but to Levi, it seems he went in a man, and came out a ghost. Levi decides he's going to try and figure out his brother...to help him...to pull him back to reality.
when i first won this book here as an ARC, i didn't think much of it. I just thought this would be another war-centered story with the same cliche'd plotline we've all seen so much of over the years. But this was different. It was so much better than i had expected! its actually one of the best reality-based fiction stories i've read!
I would recommend this book for STRONG and MATURE audiences ONLY...this is the real world inside that book...parts of the world that haunt those too young to guard themselves from it. some of these stories would make certain people vomit. there is foul language in the book, there is some drug reference, s*x is mentioned, and few other things are mentioned. I know a few who would like to read this book, but i would tell them not to because of some of the content. beware of some of the content, but other than that, i think it is a good book

The Holy Bible
how can one write a review one one of the oldest and the absolute greatest book ever written? this book has action, adventure, romance and more! even though it has many different parts(called books), it is easier to read than many books out there! especially school books! from science to science fiction; from teen drama to fantasy; from the darkness to the Light; between epic battles and romantic love stories; battles that spread through two dimensions that have been since nearly the bigining of time; and from the world that we once thought we knew, to the most terrifying events this world has yet to see; this book has something for everyone.
there are stories that tell of things once thought to be fiction, like: Dragons, Unicorns, Serpents, Angels, Demons, 'Aliens', Chariots of Fire, Wizards, Mediums, Giants, and even things as unusual as Demon Goats!
or if you would rather say "i prefer things that are REAL" then this is still the book for you. read about science written thousands of years before scientists discovered such, learn life lessons, and read about REAL historical figures as they go through things that many of us today couldnt even dream of!
from 'Sci-Fi' to fantasy to historical to mystery and more, this book has it all. AND ITS ALL TRUE. 100% real and NOT FICTION!!!!!
I would reccomend this book for every one. and i mean EVERYONE. This is a definate *must read* that should be on anyones bookshelf!

Death Watch By Jack Cavanaugh and Jerry Kuiper
this is one of, if not the first, book i actually chose to read and read all the way through in years (as of 2005). this one may very well be the book the book that had brought out the bookworm inside me. yes, i read books before this, but didnt love them nearly as much.
in this book, strange notices are cirulating through the world. "You have been selected for death. Precisely forty-eight hours from the time of this transmission you will die. this is an official death watch notice." what would you do if you got a notice? this story follows a young reporter as she tries to solve the mystery behind these papers--and deaths.

*****
in this story we follow a young boy and his sister as they go to the 13th floor of a building where they are supposed to meet some family that they shouldnt really have.
i would reccomend this book for anyone. its writen as a historical fiction, but reads as a normal fiction! anyone who likes ghost or paranormal stories, historical fiction, witchcraft, pirates and more will LOVE this book!
